Day 1 of trying new things

Yesterday was my first day of trying new things...well, made mango lassi (Mango shake)without a recipe! Yeah! That's a huge win for me as I don't make anything without a recipe. And, it turned out great! What an experience?!

I trusted my intuition to guide me with how much mango, yogurt and another new ingredient, Agave Nectar, to use!!  It was delicious!  The most significant aspect to this exercise is the opportunity to turn to my intuition and trust it to guide me.

I feel my trusting muscle has gotten a little stronger.  I feel great!  Can't wait to experience what new things/experiences I will choose today.

Keep you posted!  Now, what is your experience so far?  Do share!

What am I committed to?

Okay, so, it's Sunday night and here I am at the computer, wondering what am I willing to commit to doing for this coming week?  What Fearless principles would I like to work on?

To be very honest, Sunday night is kind of a funny night for me.  It's a night where I realized that the weekend is over and a new week is beginning.  I would take stock of what I had done the week before and assess areas where I had grown or shine.  Then, wondering what I can do in the next week to practice my Fearless muscles, and where I am willing to take a risk.

Now, my guts is crunching...lol!  Yes, after all these years of practicing and using the Fearless tools I had learnt and now, coaching my clients, I still feel the crunch in my guts whenever I decide to take a walk outside of my comfort zone...the wild side.

So, I am going to pick this...For this coming week, I am willing to practice trying out new things.  I know it may sound sooo trival, yet, I am willing to bet that for some, this is a challenge.  So, let's just try new things, new experiences, new places to eat, shop or even a new exercise class...oh...that sounds like an idea for me tomorrow!

Okay...so that's what I am willing to commit to this week...willingness to practice new things and new experiences.  I'll keep you posted!  Share some of yours if you are willing.

Have a Fearless week!!

And the abundance keeps flowing...

So, I am continuing my Abundance theme this week and boy am I amazed at what I found!  I am beginning to see sooo many blessings in my life! I noticed that I am more peaceful, more open.

As I stay in this "more" space, I found more things that are already in my life! For example, last night, I found a bunch of spa-quality bath products that were gifts to me and they were just sitting in my linen closet!  I happily and gratefully took a relaxing bath, soaking in a hot tub of bubbly with organic lavender scented sea salt.  All the while, feeling soooo pampered and loved! And, cost me nothing and gained a bunch of relaxation and gratitute! How's that for ABUNDANCE?

So, what do you have already in your life that you are not aware of? Willing to go and search for it?

Happy discoveries,
Coach Shirley

Abundance in your Life...

So, on Friday, Mar 26, I posted that I am going to practice observing the abundance in my life. And, I have to say, this weekend was uneventful with activities, yet, it was very peaceful and moving.

Moving because I realized how much I have been taking some stuff for granted. For example, air. That's the most basic neccessity in our lives and how often do we take in a really deep and big breath and say, "wow...and there are so much more for everyone." We don't try to breath in as much air as we can because it will run out...there is no lack of air! We are not in competion to breath in air. I have been taking for granted the abundance of air.I know, it may not be significant. To me, it was a real humbling moment for me. I can't explain, I was very deeply moved by it.

Then, as the day went by, I found myself functioning from a place of plentiful and not lack. I was more patient and did not rush my daughter as I was trying to get from place to place. I found myself being supported by others and their willingness to step up and support me, again, blew me away. I wondered if I would be just as open to accept help this easily if I were not functioning from this open space of abundance.

To me, when I am being supported, I feel abundance in my life as I do not need to fight for time to do things that could be done by others. I feel like I have more time to do other things or spend with my friends and family. This is just my experience this weekend.

I am willing to keep this abundance observation for the rest of the week. I invite you to join me and please, do share what you have discovered when you are in your space of abundance.

So, okay, it has been a LONG time since I last entered anything here. I am confessing that I was in the fear zone.

Personally, I am feeling very challenged with my little Sophia going into 2 years of age and already, she has decided to show me what she is made of...lots of screaming and shouting and she is one determined baby.

I am also coming close to the end of my training with the Fearless Living Institute as a trainee coach. I realized that I will be facing graduation and that would mean that I am on my own! I am totally responsible for my own success, my own marketing and how I get my practice out in the REAL world! Wow! Talk about the fear of leaving a safe and comfortable zone.

Yet, I am ready. I have been ready for a long time and my beautiful mentor has ever so lovingly pushed me out of the nest and have me test my wings!! There is such a huge sense of success as this is a long and detailed program which I am so proud to be a part of. I feel like I have come to a major milestone in my own adult development!

I feel stronger as a woman, a wife and especially a mother. I feel I can support my daughter through anything she might be challenged with and I am more ready to be a role model for her...not that I am not already. This little girl adores me.

So, here I am; ready to spread my wings. And, my question for you, my dear readers, have you spread your wings lately? Is there something you have been desiring to do and told yourself, you are not ready, not good enough or, "who do you think you are?" Well, I hear all of that and I am living proof, it can be done.

Live LARGE and FULL!!!! And, always, FEARLESSLY!

Hugs,
Coach Shirley
